Swordsmen with immortal abilities, clans fighting each other, brutal combat, and characters struggling with life. 

Taking place in almost the same exact world with very similar sociocultural settings, both stories follow an abandoned-by-all wandering swordsman hero. Similar characters and story development closely connect these two stories that almost seem to belong in the same universe. 

Both are heroic fantasy with lot of gore and a cursed main character.  

The same artist deals out violence and gore as much as possible in both of these series, and while some will see the fighting as overdone, the art is certainly badass. 

lots of people die. as you can prolly tell by chunchu's complete title. both have sweet and intense fight sequences. 

i love them both. main charecters are somewhat alike, they both have demons inside them and kick major butt when the demons awaken.
