Both ukes are in abusive relationships with their boyfriend (or in AJ's case, ex-lover), and the semes are there to save and comfort them.

Manga: Uso to Coffee to Amai Kiss
Both semes save the ukes from sexual violence, and thoroughly protects them throughout the story. Also, both ukes have simpler occupations than their semes in that they are mere waiters in a restaurant (well, technically, the uke in UtCtAK is a cafe owner and serves customers). In AJ, seme is a wealthy restaurant owner. In UstCtAK, seme is a detective.
