Synopsis

Sakurai Ippei has devoted himself to becoming the best at kendo he can be. In hopes of furthering his kendo skills in a practical use, he becomes a law enforcement officer. After working his way from a police box to a detective, Ippei becomes a capable detective, incorporating his kendo into his work and learning the way of the sword. On the job he grows as a person and meets many colorful characters who he gets to know on his personal journey.
