Both involve tentacle attack on uke. (YnS's is fairly brief, though). 

The gore and horror themes are very similar, more so in Drops of Desire (Yokubou no Shizuku). Both are about humans who are either hosts for demons, or are demons/monsters themselves. Drops of Desire is way more smutty than Sweet Pool, with sex at nearly every turn. It also has tentacle and werewolf kinks. Both also have rape scenes or forced sex. The art is similar. Very detailed with tall lanky characters, dark shades and tones, explicit sex details (sometimes), and the gore. Sweet Pool is a longer more drawn out story that's based around a visual novel, where Drops of Desire is a stand alone volume that is designed to deliver smut. read more
