This is the kind of manhwa I would've loved at 10 y/o.

Story: :((
Everything is going on so fast. Some parts are cheesy and cliché, and looks like they are only there to make our heart flutters, but it's most of the time just random, because the romance is too fast, we don't feel the chemistry yet or it feels like it could have been worked on more than that before getting to where they are.

The plot itself is not bad. It looked thought through, everything is connected, you know... Still, it could have been more developped or put out more nicely or more organized. What ... i mean is that I noticed that for some scene, I got the idea the artist wanted to put out, but it was poorly done, or once again too rushed.

When I talk about the story being rushed I mostly am refering to the backstory (crown prince x shaman lady part). I feel like if this part was more developped, I would have understand the main leads getting closer faster than expected, since they felt a connection from their old lives. BUT NO, the backstory was even more rushed than any other parts when it was supposed to be the most important one! They literally just met, went from ennemies, to lovers, than a tragedy popped out in the same night (what felt like no more than 1 hour).

This had so much potential...

Characters: :/
The characters are not bad, but nothing comes to my mind to describe them. I have nothing more to say about them as they don't really stand out for me. For this reason, I feel like the characters are just written like every other characters we normally see in most romance works (very stereotyped), where we get a girl who's independant, a guy who's arrogant, yet has a cute side and a kind-hearted second lead with a sad backstory.

As for the art, it is perfect. I love the art style so much. The characters are good looking and the sceneries and backgrounds well drawn and, to be honest, the art was what draws me to read this manhwa in the first place and also probably the reason I am still reading.

If you are not looking for well written stories/characters and just want a fast read romance with a cheesy touch and nothing really to be taken seriously, this could be for you. Just don't expect much and enjoy it as it is. I'm not saying it's horrible, the concept is pretty good, just poorly done.
