What if solo leveling had less stakes and an even more asspulls. This series is the most uninteresting take on the power fantasy genre by adding nothing new at all except making the MC into a living deus ex machina. Thought the series you never get a single sense that the MC is in any trouble at all cause at even the slightest inconvenience the story gives either him or one of his 2 friends the only actually relvent characters in the series another massive power up leaving anyone else in the dust.
The series tries to have a faction drama of who will win but
...
the MC is genuinely just too strong and everyone else is too dumb. Even the main villain of the series if you could call him that doesn't fell like a massive fight with lives on the line rather just another random shmuk for the MC to aura farm on.
Let's talk about the side characters for a second cause God damn are they something else. Because they are nothing each of them fells like more of a paper copy than the last with everyone opposed to the MC being a mustache twirling villain who wants to kill all of South Korea. And the heros allies are just random smuks who all get God tier powerups every second just for existing to make them even semi relevant to the ballooning power scale.
In a sea of power fantasy series lone necromancer adds nothing new and somehow finds a way of making an overpowered MC even more boring. Its clear at some point the author wanted to add some depth to the series but was too afraid that the Mc might ever brake the smallest bit of sweat so made every decision the most painfully obvious black and white choice. With none of the Mcs decision ever going wrong because why would be ever fail.
5/10 on completion only read if you've got nothing else and I mean nothing else, and a few hours to burn.
