Manga: I Woke Up as the Villain
Homoerotic subtext between the original ML and the MC? Waking up in a novel you read? Suddenly being forced to become more than a minor antagonist? Abusing the fact that MC reincarnated into a rich novel character and saying "Hmm money is the best..."? MC just wanted to live as a slacker after securing their death flags?? Main difference is that LoCF takes place in a fantasy setting, I Woke Up as the Villain takes place in a RPG/Hunter-Dungeon setting

While motivation and vibe of the character is different, both are working on developing land they become the lords (son of the lord of) with lottery-type element of getting new helpers and game system element. New problems arise but due to the good thinking they solve them and make the place better

Manga: Dusk Howler
The protagonist in "Lout of Count's Family" is a reader whose soul was transferred into the body of a secondary antagonist in a fantasy novel, while the protagonist in "Dusk Howler" is a hikikomori who started playing as a wizard in a virtual fantasy game in order to overcome his social phobia, but in this game, he accidentally joined a villainous guild and became a student of a legendary villain. Both stories have BL subtext.

In both manhwas, we can follow the journey of the MC's from trash to badass. In both they able to fix their reputation and and develop friendship with the MCs of the novel that they reincarnated into.
