The story is simple - we have a boy, Satou, in love with his friend - Arai. She is rather reckless, very cheerful, with child's soul, and Satou's caring, gentle, more mature. They've known each other for two years, and basically are always together. The problem is, Arai seems to be totally oblivious of Satou feelings, and he realize that just waiting for her to fall for him isn't the best tactics.
So here we are with another pretty generic story. What makes it stand out is:
- boy's POV - it's nice to look from guy's perspective for a change.
- likeable protagonists - both Satou
...
and Arai are well written characters. They're just humans.
- their interactions - natural, authentic, not forced. And, moreover, CUTE
I give it 9 in the overall. It's not the same 9 I would give e.g. Strobe Edge, but it's a 9 in one-shot category. If you don't have much time but want to read something nice and sweet, give it a go.
