I'm not gonna write any long and detailed review, here's just what I think after reading the first volume:

- a good comedy tho it just gave me some chuckels than loud laughter. An absurd arranged marriage threat, and using always-fighting couple treat to create a lot of comedic dialog.

- There are a lot of good events that I've never bored when reading even tho at some points it feels like just too fast to be ended.

- I found the relationship development feels natural without forcing like, "It should be this! So I will take any means to do it."

- Adorable

Let me preface this by saying that if you prefer faster paced reads or are looking for a masterpiece, you've come to the wrong place. This is very much a slower paced read, with lots of running in circles and more than a small dosage of sidetracking. Often only 1 or rarely 2 chapters in a volume will push anything along in the story, and sometimes events that seem really important to the characters in the story will seemingly just be forgotten about. It honestly feels like for every chapter of progress the next 2 must be filler. And the story events themselves aren't anything ...

I've read 2 volumes of the light novel. Let me preface the review by saying it is literally impossible to spoil this book. It is so packed to bursting with cliches that it is a paint-by-numbers for low-effort romance light novels. You can write the novels yourself just from the summary and be 90% accurate (and likely make some improvements).

The male MC (Saito) is a dour high school boy with no friends, no interests other than reading and gaming, never studies, but is somehow top of the class. He's never illustrated, but you can already picture his messy black bangs in your mind.
