Synopsis

For a gacha game enthusiast like Hashimoto, work is essential to earn money for his unusual spending habits. However, his office job serving the cruel demon boss, Makoto Shirase, is a living hell. Whenever he has the time to rest, Hashimoto immerses himself in an online game and often complains to his friend "UMA" about his stringent manager.

While the two become close virtually, they mutually decide to arrange an offline meeting. Hashimoto looks forward to finally seeing the person behind the screen, but UMA is someone he least expects...

The series was published in book format with extras by Ichijinsha on March 13, 2020.

A continuation was announced on the author's Twitter account on April 27, 2020.

my friend pointed out that there was only one review for this manga and that is a fvcking travesty, let me tell you

this manga is a MASTERPIECE. you think im joking but im not. it honestly features one of the best office romances that doesn't feel at all tedious nor like the boss has whatever freaky weird power dynamic usually associated with boss-employee couples. INSTEAD, these two guys are actually *gasp* normal?!?!??! COULD IT BE?!??!?!


also only true gaymers are allowed to read this. i rest my case. 10/10, would experience again. that means if u arent a gaymer, dont even bother.

I love this manga because it reminds me how much of a loser I am for playing gacha games. Some very top comedy that’s right up my ally. It has a basic plot line, but that’s okay because I still laughed thus proving that this manga is good. And if you’re put off because it is shounen-ai or whatever just remember that fujoshis tend to avoid shounen ai because like nothing happens pfffff. I also don’t know how to write reviews if you haven’t noticed.

it was fun at first but i feel like after the main characters met up the story just got boring? their relationship didn't feel well developed and when they talked about having feelings for the other i genuinely got confused because it's like when did that happen? they didn't even feel like friends the relationship was rushed and just not written well. or i could just have high standards for romance lol.

it's still worth a read though if you want office romance that doesn't have weird creepy power dynamics. it's short and sweet and can be really funny at times even if the romance ...
