The art does its job. It’s polished and fitting for the story, capturing the opulence of the setting and the heat of the romance. That said, it’s not so remarkable that it stands out—it’s what you’d expect from a story like this.
there’s nothing groundbreaking here. The plot lines and character arcs are predictable, and while the story might not offer anything new, it delivers enough entertainment to satisfy fans of reincarnation romance. The usual elements—steamy romance, political intrigue, and a headstrong protagonist—are all present, but they don’t break new ground. surprises.
overall, I enjoyed the first two book (considering the genre/contents of the book being 17+) but the third volume had a tonal shift and they ended up adding new characters and supporting cast. the main character's personality and attitude also shifts compared to the first two books and i'm pretty sure they only did this to make an easier transition to the new series (I'll Never Be Your Crown Princess! - Betrothed) which is a shame considering I felt they would have been able to wrap up the story in three volumes nicely.
