Both Akagami no Shirayuki-hime and Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai are about a red headed girl full of ambition in their respective fields, herbalist and magic artisan. They then attract the attention of nobility and end up becoming fast friends and formidable allies in their future endeavors. Both heroines, Shirayuki and Dahlia, struggle with wanting to nurture their talents through their own means without accepting hand outs from their new noble friends/love interests. In addition both have a very similar historical fantasy setting, although Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai does contain magic. Overall, both cute romance!!
