Both revolve around a female protagonist who constantly tease her brother in an attempt to get him to know that she is sexually attracted to him.

Both have a harem of girls after a guy who doesn't seem to have much attributes. Yomeiro choice is much more ecchi though, and its humour is more unique as well as magic is related.

Both titles have a somewhat ironic meta perspective on manga tropes and otaku culture. Oniichan.... feature a harem where the girls enjoy the drama more than the boy they compete for, and Shinozaki-san have gags on otaku culture as one of its main features. Oniichan no koto is frankly quite boring, I think Shinozaki-san is way better (at killing time), but if you like Oniichan no koto be sure to check out Shinozaki-san.

Both feature perverted female protagonists. Lots of ecchi and comedy.

Both series portray romance between siblings who are not blood related. There is also some focus on the male protagonist's experiences with other females which are often ecchi in nature.
