This manga is about an office worker who plays eroge and otherwise has his eye for an employee who is nice and the employee may have their eyes on them due to a situation in the past but he messes up saying something stupid that to me seemed very ridiculous and made sense as a thought then dialogue out loud but apparently it was out loud. XD Your otaku and bad at talking to women type of character and what happens to them situations (in this case really dumb thing said to someone he likes would get along with but almost wanting to ruin the
...
situation but didn't).
That night he gets an app to see how people think by a goddess. It's a short manga and 3 chapters I read led to the spinoffs but it has 7 chapters not 8 or 10 of the other chapters (8th was 1 chapter of a spin-off the other 2 the first 2 chapters or another spinoff).
The app seems to be somewhat of a 'what they are women colleagues thinking' but could also be a trick in a way I always thought by the goddess or intentional writing of leading to a more intimate side which I think is alright but very predictable of convincing characters then being believeable. He way he gets different responses and thoughts appear in the app based on how he acts.
Similar in a manwha (Love Parameter, also much longer and larger amount of chapters) about reading glasses that can read or predict what the guy probably wants to happen or what the women are thinking.thid series reminded me of (no idea which came first (but both have their moments and differences, I'd you want something similar go for it or this series whichever read or not if interested). Back to the review of this series though.
Not that I hate the idea I think it's a fine idea even if not that original compared to some manhwa I've read with similar elements but the extent of the characters being too convinced too quickly to be intimate and it getting a bit messy/almost harem like is a bit of a let down I find. Few chapters can have that effect but it stitl pulls it off fairly well between many characters. Some fill their purpose well of situations he encounters with a few women.
I don't mind short chapters I've seen short chapters showcase events quickly and been convinced like Tawawa on Monday but I think here it was a bit awkwardlt handled.
There is the one he has his eye on and ends up directing it to others instead.
It's a fine ecchi in some cases romance manga with a focus on different situations with different characters they use the app on and pointing it at the wrong person a few times. Once they find out they suspect things or want to have their own action on the situation or confront him about it as he tries to hide the app from one employee he uses it on and when they notice or talk with the goddess they go about things from their side.
Don't have much else to say it's short, I gave as brief as I can go without covering the personalities and situations as don't want to spoil those.
But if you want to know what characterisations/character tropes they have well they are:
The shy but secretly otaku, the nice one, the I have a business agreement I want to show and a bit into some control side types of women he encounters but that's about it really. Each chapter covers a different character at first before eventually confronting him at the fourth onwards chapters.
I have mixed feelings on it. It's a fine manga even for the length, the idea is fine not original I've seen manwha also do this in different directions with an app/glasses/a rock or whatever the case by a goddess so it's pretty up there for done before ideas but besides those it's a fair short read for someone interested in a short romance ecchi manga.
