To get it out of the way I was pretty frustrated with a few of the elements of the story. For some parts the characters acted irrational or it didn't really make sense why they did certain things to remain spoiler free to say. I think what saves this manga was the fact that it is relatively short (17 chapters) and has a satisfying ending. If they just dragged it out, it would have started to seem too repetitive.
From the perspective of Yuka (the MC) it makes sense why she continues to do things that she is uncomfortable with because she loves writing. She
...
is not use to writing outside the soft love stories because she has her own bad history with love. She puts up barriers for herself that shows in her writing. But at the same time people are telling her she is bad at something she is incredibly devoted to. So when she starts getting attention for the stories that are outside her usual style, she feels more pressure to continue doing that. There are even times when she does things slightly different in her own way but people tell her that's wrong and makes her even more down on herself.
Through the dentist she is able to unlock more of herself that she couldn't do herself. And it may seem like she is a terrible writer and it's only because of him that she is able to stay popular but in reality he never writes for her, only prompts her. Slowly she gets comfortable with her own style while not forgetting her own self. It's not saying that changing her style was a bad thing, they just wanted her to stop being afraid of what she could do.
