This kind of manga often suffers from shallow stereotypical characters with a stretched believability in their development because they tend to be short and still have a big character pool. Despite that gore and death games are a guilty pleasure of mine. But this one is the worst I´ve read by far. Lore and plot twists feel very forced and random. Most of the characters seem to have no problem with killing or raping which is also very random at times. At the same time female characters are often psycho, oversexualized or extremely shy which doesn´t breaks the little tension the manga was building up.
...
The worst part was, when a character was burning and all they did was asking for help. It felt hard taking anything seriously afterwards anymore. The stakes were at a minimum and I really didn´t care who´d survive and who wouldn´t (a death sentence to a mange of this genre).
At the end I was done and felt nothing. It just didn´t leave any impact with me. No interesting character, no creative game of some sorts, no tension. I just sat there for a minute, thought about what else I could´ve spent the money on and went on with my day after a minute like nothing happened. I don´t remember the last time I felt nothing after finishing media.
Pure trash, but not the fun kind.
