I have not read any proper music themed manga, if you just ignore the two axed mangas in my list. So this was a good addition to kickstart my journey in reading these mangas.
Synopsis is that the mc has a dream to perform in a band. In order to achieve that she buys an electric guitar and joins her school's light music club. Following that are the ups and downs in her musical journey to achieve her dreams.
Now the story is very basic yet somewhat a bit complex. Complex as in a lot of things happen simultaneously in the backdrop. Our mc is a girl

with some untapped potential as a vocalist, which she doesn't know herself. As the story goes on we see her improving herself with her bandmates. The story is very spread out in terms of giving its character screen time. It doesn't shy to make its main character back out and give some focus on its other characters. There are various other plot points present apart from the music one. There is a lot happening regarding whether its romance or rivalry. So it doesn't provide you with much chances to get bored.
Art is very basic and spacey. I don't know how to explain but its very minimalistic looking, doesn't focus on details being drawn which gives the story a very light and easygoing feel and it gets better and better every chapter.
Characters are also very cheerful and expressive, as teenagers go. Most of them are written well and interesting. Their design, due to the artstyle, looks rudimentary, with nothing to set them apart on visual alone, although I guess that the artist was deliberately going for that approach. But their personalities are enough of a separation to make them stand out individually.
All in al, a very light read with occasional high school drama present in between.
