I spent almost a year reading this Manhwa, and I don't know how I feel about it. Bitter? Baffled? I don't know.
It started so well and got royally ruined in the second season. Not to mention, the ending was rushed on top of that—the biggest letdown of all. If you want to pick it up for the art, suit yourself. Otherwise, the plot is not worth it.
The entire Manhwa follows the story of this girl called Yeonhee whose mother got into jail, left her alone when she was 18, I suppose, and hence had to work to get by. In the factory she was working

at, someone saw through her struggles and suggested working at a company that doesn't require licenses or diplomas and would pay a decent amount of money. Anyhow, albeit her suspicions that she chose to tone down, the company she ended up joining turned out to be a pyramid scheme, and before she knew it, she found herself stuck there and had to get out before matters turned worse. Consequently, she quit and used the money she saved to get into college. As a result of humiliation and self-loathing for scamming money out of innocent people, she changed her name and turned over a new leaf. Little did she know that her victims were going to come down to haunt her.
What ticked me off about this Manhwa, other than that cult bullshit that took an eternity to end, is the female lead and how selfish she turned in the second season. I felt for Yikyung and how she was making decisions involving him on her own once her past caught up to her, leaving him tormented and heartbroken. I would've given up on her if I were him, but he still pursued her. Who wrote that stuff?
The team working on this Manhwa could've saved the plot by hiring a competent script-writer.
