if you're fine with a a but of a slower pace then the anime is perfect as the music and the voice acting in both sub and dub create an atmosphere so much better than the manga could

I'm reading manga as of now because it is more faster to complete but I checked a few episodes to compare the manga and the anime, the adaptation is perfect. Choose either it basically depends on your preference.

Anime is the way to go. The stellar voice acting and the beautiful soundtrack make it worth it. Afterwards, you can read the manga for a re-experience.

Usually for series as slow paced and focused on details as this, the manga is easier to consume, but if you don't mind the pacing, you can go with the anime, it's a perfect adaptation of the manga.

monster is one of the super rare cases that anime and manga are pretty close in terms of quality/enjoyment

I actually haven’t read Monster but if you want a feel of a faster pace read it but other then that the anime is faithful to the manga, I can say the anime itself is really great

You watch or you read, pick your poison.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I loved this series, and I actually tried both dub and sub. Both were good, but I went with the dub for this one.

both are good...anime has memorable soundtrack,awesome adaptation..but well the pace in the beginning was quite slow
