Razer pisses me off. He killed bopobo because bopobo tried to reveal that greed island is real world, was a murderer and had committed several murders, so he was given life prisonment on greed island. But later we see that Razer himself was also a murderer himself. What justifies his murder of bopobo here? He himself kills bopobo and proves bopobo's point, and therefore contradicts himself. I hate it when a creater does something for shock factor and fails to explain it. There are similar plot holes in hunter x hunter which tagashi failed to explain.

There has been lots of moments done solely for shock in aot, fmab, one piece, but the authors explained all of them very well, without a 'single' plothole. But I'm disappointed in HxH. Someone please explain

Hxh isn't finished so we will never know if there was something that was supposed to be revealed later

He killed him because he broke the taboo about revealing Greed Island is in the real world. Bopobo was a murderer and a rapist so why would he let someone like that live if he can't even do the one thing he is supposed to do.

You aren’t supposed to reveal that Greed Island is in the real world but Bopobo did that.

if you don't know, razer was a murderer himself. He himself doesn't deserve to live. How does he have the right to kill someone for crime when he is himself a criminal who has done the same. Also many of them didn't believe bopobo, razer killed bopobo and that's how everyone got to know about it being a real world. So this is the biggest irony

one doesn't deserve to be killed for that! Also razor killed bopobo and that's when the characters believed it's actually real world

You aren’t even allowed to say that it’s a real world and if you say so the punishment is instant death

What're you even on about? It's clearly explained and has nothing to do with him being a criminal. He broke the taboo and he died. Him just saying that they could get off the island would've been enough for others to realize that it was set in the real world. Are you just trying to be dumb about something? It's so blatantly obvious.

Next time try to pay attention to what you watch OP and not skipping some scenes.

Like other people said, that fat prisoner broke the taboo about telling that Greed Island is located in a real world.

I think your problem is you’re trying to assign real-world values to the world of HxH. Maybe bopobo didn’t “deserve” to die for just breaking the taboo but that’s completely irrelevant. Also, I don’t understand how this would even be a plot hole lol. His death is completely inconsequential to the story, his only purpose was to let gon and the others figure out that greed island was a real place.

you said"I hate it when a creator does something for shock factor and fails to explain it",them hxh has got a lot of them.remember how much they said the word kill in hunter exam arc and how did gon, kurapika, leario opened the test gate before even learning nen in zoldic family arc.illum behaved in hunter exam before netero(he said he is going to kill gon who is not a part of exam.how kurapika kidnapped uvo(the chain came out of nowhere).leario punched ging in public
and he did nothing.

Bopobo and the others are under life imprisonment on greed island but, not only did he break the taboo by revealing greed island exists in real life, he also tried to spark a rebellion and leave the island which was enough reason for Razor to kill him. Even in the real world its not uncommon for fugitives to be shot down while attempting a prison break.

This. Razor may not be your idea of a good person, but it isn't a plot hole.

Also this. Bopobo was under Razor's jurisdiction, so it was his responsibility to make sure that his activities didn't get out of hand using whatever measures he deemed fit. The world of Hunter x Hunter gives a lot of leeway to the strong, what with the Zoldycks being so integrated into society and even having their mountain being a tourist attraction as just one example. Razor immediately killing Bopobo to keep him in line is not a surprise.
