| I suppose there isn't much more left to adapt in the anime. And I keep wondering if they will change the ending (as it was quite controversial), but at the same time, I'd be afraid of them pulling a TPN and ruining everything. |

| I'm not a manga reader but it's titled "zoku-hen" which probably hints that it's the final (There's been many times but I can't think of any other examples but monogatari's last one is called zoku owarimonogatari) |

| I'd prefer an anime original ending, and to me it seems they really are going that way. But if not, won't be too sad. Original girl still fully deserves it anyway |

It's actually just "sequel/continuationl" I'm pretty sure so I guess it doesn't really hint at the fact that it's the final but it's happened before so it was just a thought that came to mind. |

| The manga ending was pretty rushed, so I guess they could change how that's structured (like the dad???), but I don't really think changing the winner would be that good. If/open-ended endings would leave things ambiguous and unsatisfying and a different winner would make it a different piece of media (imo). |
| Looking at the left arcs, I'm interested in how they're going to adapt the rest of the story when there's only so many chapters left in the source material. Not to mention with the pacing on the just finished season 2, season 3 will be over in like 6 episodes. |

| For the best pacing yes this should be the final season. Adding another would really stretch out what material we have left. And while you can’t say for sure, I’d bet semi-confidentially that they are going for an anime original ending, just comparing the manga to how they did it in the anime. That’s the real big surprise, anime original, or manga? |
