It kinds of reminds me of how my people speak. "I sent my letter to Mary" instead of "I have sent my letter to Mary". It isn't major and really won't raise any eyebrows if not looked at closely. The "sent" example is really what they said, I just changed the context. Also, I'm no English expert so I may miss out on other grammar mistakes. |

| Very simply, the first one comes off as kind of confused. Almost reads like questioning what an ability does. If the grammar matches the player they are well written. They even remember to put the comma before the right. However, the question itself comes off as more of a newer player because I cannot think of any more talkative players asking questions like that. Although, to be honest I am not a hundred percent sure what is happening in the situation. The second one is a vocabulary issue. As I was just explaining to my colleague, vocabulary it to be able to use a lot of words to understand and articulate a conversation. Generally speaking, I would say the word complicated is a higher level word and suggests many possible problems. The use of it twice in a row is probably a quirk of the writer and we know they are pretty savvy in their word choices. I imagine it is meant to invoke something similar to "how troubling?" So the mafia is worried about something? Just a guess though. I got no killing power. I got only one active ability - using bulletproof vest on me or person from specific group. I got only one passive ability, wich tells me that I'm neutral. My wincon requiers me or person from the same specific group to be alive when game ends. This was specialy writen in easy to check sentences in case there is lie detector who wants to clear me ^These are like from the first 3-4 posts from roz1roz. My first forum game since my return! Be gentle. Dude. I'm so agitated. I tried to log in via mobile 10 times yesterday and it kept giving me a 404 error. Thank goodness this was a 48 hr period. Corrupted as "Best Town"? It's my first bastard game, and it makes me think 3rd party more so than anything, but it's only Day1, I'll just accept it at face value for now...CP also says the phrase "Best Town" a lot. Idk why that sticks out to me, but it does, lol. I don't know how to tag the post number as a link, but I can edit and tag it if need be. Post #370 by Tingle mentions that Logic asks a lot of open ended questions and picks fights. I think that's worth noting. I understand Clarie's reasoning to vote for Corrupted, but I also get the point to vote for him too. I don't think of her actions as scummy either. Good Morning and happy birthday to Suzu~ Ah phase change is at a time I’m usually asleep at already. I will have to adjust my sleepschedule a bit for this game, but that should be fine. RT. This is a player based mafia game who's to say that the CP the D1 post is talking about, is the actual CP. It's highly plausible, to me at least, that this could actually be someone else. But I will however be suspicious of whoever claims CP, it seems like an easy scum move to try and get town to trust you. But then again, maybe it’s a too easy move? I gotta agree with this. Best to let a potential confirmed town live for D1, and wrap our heads around that later. A confirmed towny could help us a ton in the early stages of the game. It’s for us to judge later if the choices they’re making are leading town to a dark path or a bright path. So I’m of the opinion that we should let the whole CP thing rest right now and look for potential scum moves on other players. I think we should look for other reasonings on why claire is scummy.. We’ve gotten pretty much all the answers we could’ve gotten from her concerning this issue. I like arri’s reasoning on why she’s voting.. I’m gonna analyze Claire’s activity again, look if I can get anything else out of it myself. would host actually do that? It feels kinda unlikely to me. yeah I played a lot in 2015, not sure if I ever saw you back then. i dont like this. From tingle. Notice sometimes she just skips the capital letter in the beginning of the sentence. Looking closer, it's quite obvious she's not a big fan of commas. Most of her breaks between clauses are by fullstop unless the comma is obvious. Sometimes, she just misses the comma completely. "But I will however be suspicious of" Where's the comma at the "however"? "This is a player based mafia game who's to say that the CP the D1 post is talking about" Where's the comma before "who's"? "Ah phase change is at a time I’m usually asleep at already." Something is wrong with this strucure. Idk, maybe kyle or suzu can shed some light on it but merely reading it out loud sounds wrong. So, no Tingle's grammar is no where near the standard seen from MaiTai and the message I recieved from scum chat. @Arrisu Edit: "I gotta agree with this." instead of "I have got to agree with this" |

But eh, to me who doesn't get these things much, all I can see are long walls of someone trying to do something. I'm not trying to discredit the effort, but I can't exactly put much trust in the kind of knowledge that can be manipulated because I don't know it at its core. So all I can say is, maybe you're right. I'll look into MaiTai. Comments.. I can take a wild guess. The person who asked that question is probably: Last, CP, AbuHumaid, Maitai, Phraze I think everyone else would know what hiding kills does. logic will probably go and google it himself. I know what it is. I think Suzu will be the kind to explain it that asking it. You like to ask things for confirmation sake. roz seems to know his mafia things. Arri, despite hiatus, would still know roles imo. And Mishu is bae. |

General feel: Passive observer, doesn't pressure much (or any). Reads makes sense. Nothing rubs me the wrong way when I read her posts. I'll ping you if and when I have better read on her slot. The question indicates someone asking about a role. No one talks about ninja in day 1 or before you brought it up, so it should be about their own role. And it seems like the person is asking for clarification regarding said role. -> Should be someone who is has never played with the role -> Never seen the role -> Have not played mafia enough -> Forgets about roles I can see Abu in that. Why do you think Abu is not one of those? |
