| *macoy wakes upin the middle of the wilderness in an area he has never been before. he tries to think back on what happened but all he can remember is clutching his face and then nothing. its in the middle of the day now and the last thing he remembers is that it was mid day.* it happened again.... *this keeps happening to him. he was abandoned by his family for unknown reasons when he was young. all he remembers about his family is that they could awaken a power within. though he remembers that they were in complete control over when it would happen and could control themselves during it. what happens to him seems so different. one moment he will be casually strolling and taking in the day and the next he feels a surge of energy uncontrollably shoot across his body and then he blacks out only to be awoken much later and signs of destruction around him. he feels like he is a freak and his family probably cast him aside because of it. he hasnt always been alone, every once in a while a family will take pity on him and care for him. a few even taught him how to fight so he could better survive in the wild but the same thing always happens, a surge of energy goes over him and he blacks out. he usually awakens to find the people to be nowhere in sight. he hopes they got away in time but he never knows. its been at least a year since someone has shown him this kindness and he misses the company. he picks himself up and walks over to a raccoon.* where am i little guy? *he looks under the raccoon* uh-i mean girl..... im macoy, its nice to meet you. *he holds out his hand so the raccoon can sniff it. he has always been surprisingly good with animals. he guess that they can just sense the animalistic side of him and feel comforted by it. he decides to walk on to try to see where he is while the raccoon climbs up on his shoulder and stays there.* |

| *after walking for about an hour macoy sees a strange tower in the distance. it looks strange but he cant quite his finger on why it does. suddenly 3 figures in black dart out of the woods and chains rapidly wrap around him. they tighten till hes completely restrained then on of them forms handseals and summons an elephant. they hook the chain onto multiple places on the elephants saddle. the 3 jump on the elephant and it takes off towards the tower while dragging macoy. macoy tries to talk but the chains make it only come out in muffles.* ?: shut up you! ??: *puts hand over ?s mouth* we arent suppose to talk directly to the target ???: ... *macoy struggles for awhile but its made clear that the chains are way too tight. at first macoy wonders what is going on but after a few hours he cant help but cloud gaze in order to pass the time and ease his mind. theres nobody to look out for him out here, he doesnt have anyone, nobodys gonna come save him. hes gotten used to not relying on the luxury of comrades.* |
| *the elephant continues to drag macoy towards the tower lead by the unknown black figures.* bum: could you spare some change? *the elephant passes by an older man looking in his 60s or 70s with a well designed walking stick. the men look at each other then back at the man. one of them approaches the old man and sweeps the walking stick from under him and takes it* ??: this is a nice staff, thanks for the present grandpa. *the man falls to the ground whimpering and the elephant continues on. the tower looks about 10 minutes away. macoy shoots the older man a look of pity. he wishes he could help him but hes got a big problem of his own to deal with* |
