I decided that while "Thanksgiving" isn't terribly appropriate for most Japanese anime-based fics, that a sort of spin on the concept would work. The "challenge" is very loose. Just write whatever you're inspired to by the prompt -- it doesn't have to include the word, just the impression of it!! Challenge Prompt: Gratitude Genre: Any! Rating: Any, but label it properly ;) Length: Any~ Format: Any :D (but be sure you have your beta check it!) Deadline: Friday November 30th, 2007. Make sure you post something here indicating where or how to get to your submission before the deadline. It is ENTIRELY up to you how you wish to interpret the prompt. Have fun with it! Any submission that is not properly grammatical or nonsensical will be disqualified. It's not personal. Please feel free use the comments system/forum thread if you need to buddy-up with a beta reader! |

| Pretty simple poem, i hope it qualifies >_>;;. I see no error as far as i can see ----------- Blessings Be thankful, that you do not possess all that you desire. If you did, what would you look forward to? Be thankful, when you do not possess all the knowledge. If you did, what would there be to learn? Be thankful, that you experience difficult times. If you didn't, how would you grow? Be thankful, that you have limitations. If you didn't, how would u improve? Be thankful, for each new challenge you face, Because it will build your character and strength . Be thankful, for every time you fail. Because it will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful, when you're tired and weary. Because it means you've made a difference. Be thankful, for for having things to be thankful for. Because if it did not, this poem would be meaningless. |
