| In case you don't like subs, good news, the OVA is licensed by Bandai Entertainment for NA. March 2, 2009 (Cypress, CA) – Bandai Entertainment Inc. and Kadokawa Pictures USA announced at Wondercon that the LUCKY STAR OVA would be released in North America. Based on the manga by Kagami Yoshimizu, Lucky Star has already been adapted to anime as a 24 episode series currently available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA. The OVA (Original Video Animation) features short anime vignettes of the series characters. Lucky Star's main character is Konata Izumi, a lazy high school girl who isn't interested in anything besides anime and video games. Information on the release date and spec TBD. (Though, no one can beat Minoru Shiraishi and his great ED's .. ) |

| The dub for Lucky Star isn't as good as the original audio. And no I am not saying that because of Aya. |

| Well, there are fandubs if you don't wanna watch it subbed. Or you could always learn Japanese and then just watch it RAW. |
