If there is then it will be a long while yet. There's not much source material that has yet to be adapted, and the light novel releases have slowed recently.

Yeah I have been waiting for a Season 3 as well.

They HAVE to make one because the last episode of 2 ended with a cliffhanger... :(

was also wondering that I know for a fact that the LN's have won numerous awards and the anime BD and DVD sales weren't exactly bad but average there's really no reason to slow down unless the author is sick or working on another project...

I would imagine there would be a third season when content become available. The ending, just so much open endedness and resolutions left unsolved.

Volume 8 of the Light Novels covered up through the last episode, there has only been one volume since then. It hasn't been translated yet as far as I can tell, though I have read it and have posted some comments on the Vol 9 spoiler thread if you want to know what happens next (or you can read my theories on the episode 12 thread, this was a rare example of where I predicted pretty accurately).

As of today, there is no information I know of when vol 10 will be published, it is not in the Feb release cycle, which mean March 22nd or so is the earliest possible chance for it to be published. A season has basically covered 4 novels, so we would need 2 more after the next one before they will start planning on Season 3.

I am hoping that the release of the live action movie will spur the novels to be released faster, but we will have to see if that is the case.
