| This is a ceremonial location for the main line of the Schwarzvolf. Located within the heart of the castle at the ground level, it is exceptionally large, decorated in the traditional colors of the family: red and black. Stained glass windows on the right side and the far end from the entrance hide and can be opened to give access to the terrace which leads within an inner garden; on the left, portraits of former heads have a spot of honor and glare at the newcomers that pass by them. Vermillion banners with the family's crest, a howling black wolf, hang from the high ceiling, and black carpets of the softest material cover the floor. When it is required, round tables are brought in for any feasts that are held inside – the garden also serves a similar purpose. Meetings between the heads of the 29 lines are also held in this room, a situation for which a long rectangular table is brought and placed in the center of the room. At the far end of the room, a throne of iron is set upon a tall platform and overlooks the room. In it, Reignar Alfric Schwarzvolf, the current head of the family, is seated. He wears the traditional ceremonial garb of the family – black and red robes – and awaits for the 29 participates he has summoned forth to arrive. |
