| Anyone buy the first volume of the Kino no Tabi novels? Wondering how Tokyopop handled it. |
| I bought it :D In my opinion Tokyopop did a pretty good job, but I didn't read the japanese version so I can't really compare it to the original. what I do know is that tokyopop have changed the order of the chapters. in the original novel, the chapter that introduces us the real kino, is the last' so like in the anime, we don't know at the beginning the background of the kino-girl and hermes. in the english version this chapter appears right at the beginning. to those of you who can't read japanese i greatly recommend to buy the engilsh version. it's worth every cent. |
