School Days vs Elfen Lied.

Both are considered psychological thrills however I personally viewl elfen lied as horror.
Got into an argument with a friend regarding this.This is my two cents.
Elfen Lied is an excellent show but it is at the same time quite overrated.School Days is underrated.People are caught unaware by the show and then give it bad reviews just to cope with their emotional wreckage.
Anyhow.
Music:Elfen Lied has a better opening but School days' various jukebox endings are better.School days has a vastly superior OST(Background music) compared to elfen lied.It has infact one of the best anime OSts period(with Clannad and FMA:B)

Characters:School days has an almost entirely unlikeable cast whereas elfen Lied has an unrealistic cast.That being said...

Story:Many believe that in terms of content, Elfen Lied was significantly better.Thats mostly true however elfen Lied in terms of story was nothing new or groundbreaking.
School Days on the other hand was an entirely new concept.It was the perfect deconstruction of the harem genre which shows what actually happens if the guy actually acts on all the girls mindlessly falling in love with him.Elfen Lieds manga was better than its anime counterpart.

Ending:Ah yes.This is where elfen lied(anime not manga) really fails and school days shines.School days had in what my opinion is one of the most shocking,brutal but most of all satisfying endings in all of anime.Anyone who dislikes school days does so mostly because the ending really freaked them out and disturbed them.But this is easily one of the best anime endings of all time.

Overall I feel that school days gets very low ratings for absolutely no reason and that it is better than Elfen Lied the anime.
