help creating a signature

I'm fairly new to MAL and want to put a picture that will fit the signature box, but am having trouble finding the right size to make it fit. Can anyone help me in the easiest way possble the process of putting up a successful signature.

you just have to re-size it but for now, you can't put any pictures because BBCode [img] is disabled.
