Looking a for an anime with a dark, cold, quiet male lead?

Basically what the title says.
an example would be
Hei from Darker than Black (omg i love Hei)

here are some of the animes i've already watched (i might make spelling errors because i don't remember titles letters by letter, sorry!)

casserhn sins
towa no quon
zetman
rurouini kenshin
black cat
code geass

I don't care if there is romance, but action is a must.
I prefer anime with no ecchi or that nudity stuff.
It would also be a plus if the main guy was extremely strong (maybe overpowered) and if the series would be 12+ episodes.
(And no anime older than 2003)

Oh, and it would be nice if the main character had a special power too.

Death Note is a must. Try also Kaze no Stigma, best male protagonist I've seen in a long time.

I second Kaze no Stigma and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, and advise you to ignore lovelydeath's rec of Togainu no Chi (one of the worst anime I ever watched)

Other anime: Baccano! (maybe, though there's a large cast of main characters), Gundam 00, Sword Art Online (not exactly 'cold' but everything matches)
