| I've never created a topic in the forums, so let's hope this is okay. I searched first and came up with two similar topics but they're old and not very helpful. So... I just read the manga, Beast Master, and I love the main guy. He's extremely over-protective and can become scary and animalistic when needing to protect his love interest. I'd like something with a similar male character type. Both anime and manga reccomendations are good. I'd like the relationship to be between a girl and a guy, though I don't mind shounen-ai or yaoi. I've heard that Gakuan Alice has a similar male character, though the fact that they are in elementary school (as far as I know) really turns me off. I'd like a more mature feel to the animes and mangas. Please help!! Thank you! | I don't think that Gakuen Alice's guy is that similar (though for something that takes place in elementary school, it really is a lot darker than what you think is in there. I suggest giving the manga a shot anyway ^.^ ) Her Majesty's Dog BLoody Kiss Mamotte Agemasu Otokomae! Beads Club Mars all have male leads that would probably be what you're looking for |

| Hmmm Kodomo No Jikan maybe? Both Rin's step father and teacher are really protective over her. Manga has a lot more in it and further pushes the twisted relationship they have. |

| Thanks everyone! I'll have to check some of those out. I've already read Her Majesty's Dog and Full Metal Panic! (both read and watched). Those are really good reccomendations, too bad I've read both. ^^' Full Metal Panic! is my favorite manga actually, with Her Majesty's Dog following.Lol. Thank you though. Males like Sagara Sousuke, and Inugami Hyoue are exactly what I'm looking for. |
