Highschool of the Dead (Info)

Genre: Action, Ecchi, Horror

Plot/Summary
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.

In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.

The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak.

Comment:
I think there's no special need introducing this show since there's a bit of a fuss these days about it MAL, it's also one of the most anticipated shows this season. For people who like to rest their minds from deep plots watching some mindless action with large quantity of nudity this show is a pure win. If you're expecting a solid story and breath taking characters this show may not be for you probably, still may be worth giving it a try and seeing what the fuss is about :D.

60 pages of discussion for the first episode. 32 reviews, half with almost no content and some are trolls for the others. Ranked # 121.

How can you miss the latest talk of the town. The first episode really exceeded my expectations. Music, animation and voice acting are superb. I came prepared for the fanservice, having read the manga so I wasn't really turned off, in which case is the primary complaint of all who watched this. The fanservice will surely not tone down in the next episodes so bad news for those who expect that. Sadly, the station censors the gore which is kinda sad but the level shown is pretty acceptable for now until the BD comes out so I'll make do with that. I'm hearing that this will only be 12-13 episodes which is bad news but let's just see how they do the next episodes, which I'm looking forward to.

Did I mention how much I loved this club? It makes me more aware of what's out there.

I'm really liking this anime so far. i didn't really know what to expect from it but I certainly didn't expect it to come straight out with the zombies from the very beginning. It just makes me more curious as to how the story plays out. I haven't read the manga but wikipedia says that it isn't complete yet and other people have been saying that 13 episodes is too short for it.

I'm on the edge of my seat every episode so far(I know only 2 so far) wondering who is going to be picked off next.
