| 1. L, cause he's the original, the first, the true one... and he's the funniest xD 2. Matt ...because he managed to make me like him with jsut a few short appearances 3. Mello... because of the most amazing face expressions... and his unbelievable love for chocolate ( a thing we share ^//^) And finally Near. Somehow I never really liked him. He reminds me too much of a kid... I can't believe he's actually 17. |

| My personal favorite is Near. However, L and Mello WERE pretty awesome.... Matt I just felt really sorry for, considering what happened. Mello, I think, didn't get as much spotlight as he should have. He was easier to relate to than distant geniuses L and Near. But Near with his toys was just too cute to resist. |

| Matt and Mello are my absolute favorites =w= I love Mello's addiction to chocolate xD but also I like how he's so determined to beat Near, no matter what the cost. Matt is a hardcore gamer - what's not to love? Although it scares me how very similar we are. Hes like the male version of me xP |

| My number one favourite when it comes to the wammy geniuses is of course L. As lots of people said before he's the original and can't be surpassed or replaced by the others. I really cried when he died in volume 7 of the manga and after volume 8 I had to take a pause from the manga because the turn of events totally disappointed me. It took me some time to get used to the new characters. But Near... He more and more became similar to L, in his way of thinking as well as in his outer appearance. At a certain point I started to see him as an own individual and not just as L's clone anymore. He's my number 2. elblooderino said: Mello, I think, didn't get as much spotlight as he should have. I absolutely agree in this point. He was an interesting character. I liked the rivalry between Near and him and of course share his love for chocolate. xD It's a pity that his death was kinda unspectacular. If he'd had more appearances I'm sure I would have liked him even more. Last but not least is Matt. His looks are cool but there weren't enough scenes so that I could really start to like him. In combination with Mello he's cute though. |
