| Gone back to physical books now, got a small library of them to hopefully work my way through 🥲 I just think their much easier to take with me when I travel places, especially since I often take the metro train. I do find that I sometimes get carsick when reading in cars or buses though 😅 Around COVID time though I downloaded a bunch of free books and read them on my phone. I honestly really thought I'd hate reading on a device so small like this, but I found it fine and enjoyable. I did have a bunch of books I wanted to read on my previous tablet, but it started dying and I couldn't transfer them over to my new one lol 🥲 so forever they'll remain on there and I've lost the drive a little to read them on my new one. I did also used to listen to a ton of audiobooks in the past, but I've kinda lost interest in them a little and I'm not really sure why. |

| Both have positives and negatives. Digital reading wins out of convenience but reading a physical book feels more satisfying. The biggest drawbacks with reading physical are, you need good lighting to read em and, if you're a minimalist as myself, them taking physical space is pretty annoying, especially when you need to clean around the house. As for the device, I usually read on my phone, but a bigger screen would make it more comfortable. |

| Always paperbacks for local authors I really love, usually digital for everything else. Then if I end up reading something really good, I consider buying it. I'm not wasting my money on mediocre books. |
| I strongly prefer physical books, especially hardcover ones, yeah. The smell of paper, knowing I'm alone with my thoughts, not shining light in my eyes for some time...only upsides, really. |

| I only read on my phone these days. Physical books are kind of a hassle, unfortunately. I prefer physical media in general, though. Would be nice if you could get digital books on physical media. |

| If I'm paying, it's physical unless I have no other choice and I really want to read. For free, I don't mind reading digitally, but if I think of "reading a book", I think of picking a physical book to read. |
| I prefer physical, but I cannot complain with free. Internet Archive, Project Gutenberg, JSTOR, etc. are the types of things that really make me feel like the Internet was worth it in the end. |
