An Anti-Hero is some one who has villian like traits but there goal is just and noble in the end, or they convert to being a hero after a period of time. Examples are, Light, from death note, and Kiba, from the origonal Yu-gi-oh, (not the american version). Post who you think is an anti-hero.

Well my favorite antihero has to be.....
Shadow The Hedgehog from the sonic the hedgehog series.
ofcourse, he started off as a badass villain, hating humans, being the ultimate loner, and killing anyone who gets in his way.
now the reason I would chose him as my favorite is because although he's seen as an "antihero" it seems the only reason he aids sonic and his friends is because he has some secret evil alterior motive.....
A cynic is a man who, when he smells flowers, looks around for a coffin.

That works. Zechs from Gundam Wing would be another.

Hermit From History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi.

Btw. An Anti-Hero is not allways righteus.

Like my gues is that in Bleach Grimjaw will betray Aizen and help Ichigo. But not cuz he belives in Ichigos goul. Only cuz Aizen and Ulq pisess him off. So any one can be an anti-hero who fights in the side of the main character but has either questionable ways ( like mearcyless killing even if he fights for the right. Like Light ) or has a questinable motive. ( Like Grimmjaw IF he betrays Aizen. )

Now he is a thouth one.
Suzaku is more like an Anti-Villain then an Anti-Hero I think but he isn't a good example for an Anti-Villain either.

Btw I name a really good example of a questionable Anti-Hero. Urahara Kisuke. Even thou he is helping Ichigo his ( Most likely not so pure and good. ) motives are yet to be truely reviled. Even thou he puts up that big smile and happy atitude of his there is no dupt that he has some sneaky ways.

Sweeny Todd.

Yes, he was out to get revenge, and killed alot of people, but it was for the good of the people. Judge Turpin and the Beatle needed to be taken out or their tyranic reign over the city would have never ended...Until their eventaul death, of course..:)

Also at Suzakus case you can notice that at the first fight where Suzaku gets Lancelot he didn't killed any one. He aimed for the head of the mecha ( radar ) or the arms ( weapon ) or legs ( mobility ) but didn't attacked the pilot. Also saved the falling woman and chield instead of attacking Lulu. Those are Heroic acts or Anti-Villainus when one is fighting on the wrong side. ( He is fighting for Britania wich dose a forced control on other countris so thay are clearly the wrong side. Taking the name of japanese and replace it whit 11 isn't the nice thing to do. :D )

But the resune why he isn't a perfect Anti-Villain is that he fights for somewhat right goals, ( ending all conflicts. ) it's only that he dose it in the wrong way while a true Anti-Villain knows that what he's doing is wrong but even thou he want's to do the wrong thing he want's to do it in a good way.

Like Grimmjaw taking Orihime to heal Ichigo before they fight is an Anti-Villainus act. Grimmjaw knows that beating Ichigo would make him the bad guy but healing Ichigo before the fight is a noble ( Anti-Villainus ) act of fair play.

Rorschach is the very first thing that comes to my mind when I think of an anti-hero. And there is a reason for that!
