| I think most people know that animes like One piece and Detectiv conan are one of the longest, with the most episodes. But i never heard/saw anyone talk about the longest Manga/Manhua/Manhwa, after a quick research i stumbeld upon Martial Peak (Wu Lian Dianfeng) with supposed 3848 chapters (as of today). Thats just crazy, but are there any other series with anything near that number of chapters or even more? (Here the Donghua, MAL doesn't have the Manhua in it's database Wu Lian Dianfeng) |

| @ApfelMyName Yes. But volumes are a good measure for manga, because they have around 170-200 pages depends on marketing content. So Conan with its 10-12 chapters per volume will be the same as berserk with its 3-5 (I didn`t go really far in berserk). Most online pubs do a 1/2 2/2 thing for chapters that doubles series size. And I have no idea if pages is a good measure for vertical formats like manhwa. 11 pages but vertical can be like 20. But Tales of Demons and Gods felt like 20 pages were so short too. |

| @Sasori56483 I own a few Volumes, and they are completly diffrent in size and thiknes, but if it has the same amount of contant than that makes sense. The only problem with manhwa is, that they sometimes don't log the volumes only the chapters here on MAL, which again makes it difficult to count them. |
| Golgo 13 is officially the longest running manga of all time, starting in 1968 and still going, with 218 volumes as we speak. Dokaben is another long running one with 205 volumes.
