It's a supernatural satire comedy that has some kind of silly adorability to it-- The chibi artwork helps a lot with that.
The 3 MCs are giving me Gintama's Yorozuya vibes, even the way they got entangled with each other is very similar.

This might become my go-to chill fun show this season. Not gonna expect anything from it and just wait for what it will offer.

I don't love the art style and thought the college guy was annoying at times, but it was fun overall.

The art style bothers me, and the OST actively annoys me. I don't see anything that redeems those problems, and it doesn't really make sense that the pair keep trying to help Mogura. I'll skip this one.

Episode 1

And it starts off explaining who Mogura is, somebody who is locked out of heaven, so to speak, and as such he's still on Earth even though he's supposed to be passing onto the afterlife. Yae and Magi end up carrying Mogura back to his home. And then an explanation about how ghosts come to be on Earth and how he needs to consume them to return to the afterlife. An interesting start there, but at the same time I'm not a big fan of the art style. Anyway, I'll see if the next episodes will get me to watch this or not seeing that Sundays are just so loaded, especially with two shows whose TV broadcasts are on Mondays that air streaming on Sundays with this being one of them (the other is Nyaight of the Living Cat). But it doesn't look like I will be sticking with this.

Episode 2

Mogura explains himself more as he has lived since the Showa era, and was drafted to combat spirits and all other monstrosities that are causing problems on Earth. It turns out that while shoe doesn't exactly look the part, Yae is actually a third-year college student, all while Shio, a high school girl who is taking a part-time job working alongside Yae, is rather busty for her age. Pretty much, this episode is largely info dumping while getting to know Mogura better seeing that he's stuck on Earth for the time being.

Talky, but I'm starting to like it. Even the art style works for me.

And now an actual story arc is starting to develop. It's kinda fun how all these gloomy characters manage to have a sense of humor.

And the cute, wide-eyed and oblivious girl causing trouble wherever she goes because of all the spirits who follow her around so they can grope her.

It passed my 3-episode rule. The comedy isn't always the best-- tends to be a hit-and-miss banter. But I like that there's enough drops of seriousness when it comes to the spirit lore and some philosophical stuff. As long as the show doesn't take itself too seriously, I'd say it's all good.

Mogura's analysis of relationships and characters throughout the episode was pretty damn cool.
