| Pretty laidback show this is as it’s just a lady and her pet dog, err, tanuki. But this is quite a smart raccoon dog who can write. |
| Another pet story. It has a languid pace, and I usually have a hard time getting into slice of life stories, but I do like the supernatural element here. |
| A novelist who fines a pet...reminds me of "My Roomate is a Cat" although, I doubt this one will be nearly as bittersweet as that show. I thought it was funny when she called her dad by accident and he immediately started talking about the rain...I guess that transcends cultures...and she immediately noped out of that conversation. |
| Episode 2 After the first episode was only about Fuji and her pet tanuki, this episode introduces the neighbor Kii and Fuji's parents. Kii is into dogs seeing that she has a Shiba Inu of her own, and the tanuki gets along quite well. But getting pictures of it proves to be quite difficult as Fuji's father can't get a good pick of it. And then the mother visits as well. Fuji sure has gotten herself a great pet there even if it is most unusual. |
| Episode 3 And now, Fuji's friends from her high school days in Ren and Mimi drop by for a gyoza party, and for a chance to meet her pet tanuki. Of course, seeing how Fuji didn't exactly plan on having a pet, especially one that's much more intelligent than an ordinary dog, that they would be quite surprised and amused, but they enjoy being around it. And then Fuji and her dog go to the beach and makes a place for it to soak in. Those two sure are establishing great chemistry, and after her parents visit, along with her friends from school, everybody is starting to see how much she's enjoying having her dog around. |
| Episode 4 Fuji's father sure has some screws loose seeing that he's going so far to get fetish outfits for Fuji and her dog, but they are having none of it. And so, it's the summer festival as Fuji experiences differently than how she had in the past now having a dog with her. Those are some good times to be had. |
| This ended up kind of being a show about nothing. Relaxing, but kind of vapid. 7/10 |
