so i havent finished it yet im on ep6, and man it makes no sense i can understand the whole trynna respect a dead mans wishes, but after the job is done and klaus and lavie have delivered all i dont get why they, specifically Klauss is so obsessed with protecting AL they barely know each other and they dont have enough screentime to make me care about her, nor does klass should have any reason to care for her as much as he does, plus him saying in ep 6 that, while selvaria batlleship is figthing they can sneak out is just so stupid, like why? he did his job, al is safe, his job is done, so i dont get why this was so contrived and forced.

I am loving it so far tho great anime, love the world, vibe and aesthetic, char design and dub is pretty good, but this particular plot point was kinda dumb imo.

Some people like Klaus are just nice people who care about a lost child, all alone with nobody in the world (like Klaus and Lavie themselves are) and aren't strictly business? Klaus also saw how they treated her body when they collected her so naturally had some misgivings.
