I've noticed they've been real slow with releasing Bluray and DVDs of anime ever since Sony bought crunchy roll and then Funimation also merged with them.

for real!! you'd think they'd be quicker since it's Sony.. but I find Funimation were usually at the front of dubbing and releasing English Bluray, so now that they aren't really at the front of the company it seems they don't have much say
