| I was checking Twitter and got jumpscared by this. I definitely did not have it on my bingo card lol, but apparently the light novel is popular enough in Japan to get an anime adaptation. I'm glad it happened though, the manga is pretty good and the light novel might be even better. Can't wait to see the Mad Dog Princess animated by LIDENFILMS. I'm hyped. |

| I somehow totally missed the announcement (dunno why MAL doesn't notify anymore about works related to titles one's reading/watching or has read/watched in the past), but today I saw the trailer and on one hand I'm super hyped because, well, it's one of my favourite ongoing manga series, it's always seemed super obscure, so I never expected that it would get an adaptation, plus the faces in the trailer look pretty and the cast seems to be perfectly matched to the characters; on the other hand, I'm worried because, faces aside, the animation and backgrounds aren't very detailed - and this manga is BEAUTIFULLY drawn and deserves to be meticulously but also dynamically animated. |
