| Spoilers, obviously, since new characters are introduced throughout the volumes. But yes, simple question; who were your favorite characters from this manga? I liked Agari for years before i had even read the manga, i watched the anime back in 2019, then learned about him while looking around online. I have liked sharks since some decade and a half back, maybe closer to two by now, so to finally find a prettyboy shark was pretty awesome. And after finally reading the manga, he's the most adorable and precious shark-bean. Comparing him to the others during some certain situations in the manga though... it feels like a stretch to call him a pervert, but the translation i read certainly seemed to suggest he was more "adult", like the panels about MC's job and when they were playing hosts, he also seemed completely unfazed by the string-situation, ,but i'm half-half suspecting he might not express much since his face doesn't really change it's expression... at all.. i could gush about him for ages though, he just seems so sweet and gentle- .... in.. like, controlled situations anyway (won't forget his introduction chapter, rofl). i didn't really learn the names of most characters, but i quite liked MC, Mikuni, and the late-introduced squidguy Mikuni seemed like a well-seasoned and precious little old man, MC was far too kind and tolerated way too much, i just wanted him to have all the hugs and pampering for babysitting all the silly adult seafolk who continuously dropped into his house. and late-introduction squidguy was.... basically like a god, i guess. I would have loved to see more of him, and kinda chuckled at his tentacles just going everywhere while talking to MC- like, don't wrap it around the poor kid's neck. -but it also gave the impression all the tenta-touching was maybe to help MC with his slime-problem, since i didn't see MCs prickly lines toward the end of the exchange. i had a 50/50 on Takasu and crab, Takasu seemed pretty sweet, even if too forward. he was surprisingly smart and insightful at times, and crab was kinda intimidating- but he also brought those 5000% over the top villainy, so he kinda just turned comedic, |
