I've noticed that in between the announcement and the actual release date, there were about 11 months in the first season and roughly 10 months in the second season. Can we expect to see the anime Spring/Summer 2025 then? Or are there some leaks or some major events coming up where it would be likely that the anime would be released (anniversary or smth like that)?

This is because the second season was already planned and in the works while the first season was on air, which is why the wait between one and the other was less than 12 months.
This is not to say that the third wasn't planned, it probably was (at the end of the second season, a few days later some leaks had already come out about the confirmation of a third season) but since they had other projects in the works (Go! Go! Loser Ranger! and Blue Archive) the work on the third season must have started recently.

Having said that, I expect the third season to be released in 2025, I don't know when, but I assume they will keep the same period, that is, the autumn season.

Depends on the content this season covers. But I would generally say that no, you have to understand the main story to watch this season. So season 1 and 2 would be recommended

@Aymen_Mounazzah It’s in your best interest to watch the first two seasons before jumping into the third. The earlier seasons lay the foundation for the story, introducing key characters, world-building, and plotlines that are crucial to fully understanding and enjoying the events of the third season.

@XAlpha9 It is, and it will continue covering the Chernobog-Lungmen crisis. I can't wait to see the Emperor's Blade in action!

@Asyncwav I hope they cover Darknights Memoir arc, it would benefit the story a lot. Maybe they'll release a short series in-between season 3 & 4.

@Bylov6812 in my opinion darknight memoir arc is considered a side story so maybe they will do it as standalone canon movie/ova/special episode
