After Story?

Does anyone have any information on if the author will make light novels on the after story. I see that there is a lot of content on the web novel so I was just wondering if the author is going to adapt it to ln form.

I haven't heard anything about adapting it into a LN, I hope he does though. Iirc I think the author may be planning to end the afterstory within the next few arcs. I may be wrong tho as it's been a while since I read it.

I think in the afterword of vol13 the author said he wants to do the after story too

Edit: just checked and it does in fact say he wants too

He intends to make the After Story chapters into LN volumes, yes. But it’ll most likely be at least another year or so before we hear anything related to that. Why? Well

- The prologue for the last After Story arc (chapter 490) is due this April
- Shirakome-sensei said it’ll almost certainly be a pretty big ol’ banger of a story, so it could possible run until end of 2024
- After that’s finished he’ll likely take another quick break (just like now, because he’s trying to get his mindset right for the last arc)

So only after all that is when he’ll finally be able to fix all the continuity issues (god knows there’s a fuck ton of those) and prep it for proper LN release
