Why is there no CGDCT on this show?

I like Index a lot. I watched the whole main series. So I’m trying this and if I had known it was mostly CGDCT I would never have started it. The show likes to sprinkle in some action, but I don’t understand why this is so popular now. So don’t you think this should have a CGDCT title?

I recall this rather being Cute Girls Doing Things (skipping the second Cute) because the things they got involved with were either creepy or downright morbid, especially the whole clone thing. CGDCT as a theme felt strictly absent through most of it in my opinion. Or rather, it wasn't present enough for it to feel like a constant.

it's popular cause it's miles better than Index as a show, The index anime adaptation is a disgrace especially S3 that was a calamity.
This just had SOL moments and a bit of filler.

S1 is a lot of filler and CGDCT. S2 has a like one or two eps of filler/CGDCT at the beginning and then from there the tone shifts dramatically and it becomes a dark sci-fi action thriller. S3 is also very plot heavy and has much more suspense and action and not a lot of time for CGDCT. If you don’t want CGDCT, skip the filler arcs and eps and push through the level upper arc in s1 (the only manga canon arc with a lot of CGDCT)

Isn’t the entire second half of season 1 filler? And this first half is 75% slice of life. Its barely any actual content

The first half of the season I have finished and its still how I feel. There was about 75% of slice of life or filler here

Firstly, what wrong with CGDCT. Dont you like cute girls doing things. Secondly, its not as cute or glittery as it looks like in the first few episodes. Let the story progress past the introduction part. After that you will see the real plot of this show.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Not sure why it would be under CGDCT? It’s not like they’re doing anything that would be considered cute. It’s not like they’re singing, or doing something else in that area. There’s some downtime, but the action and story make up for it.

You literally say "this show" and now you say that you are talking only about the 1st season. Pick your words more carefully if you don't want things to lead to misunderstandings.

CGDCT is definitely not my thing. I’ve tried Bocchi and Yuru Camp. I couldn’t get into either

@Sagepool Well this isn't the slice of life CGDCT anime like Bocchi or Yuru camp. It's actually action just like it's parent series. It just has cute girls which do cute things. This is in addition to the action and plot of the series.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.
