@Frebby I mean, nothing for facts, but Paripi was a considerable success and if they're making a compilatory movie it's probably 'cause there's a S2 in planning but it will take some time before airing.

I don't know why studios make these compilation movies or how much effort they take, but I do know that you don't have to watch it.

These movies, although not as welcomed as new season of anime, can be a good thing sometimes in bridging the gap between two seasons.
I remember Seitokai having this formula, we would have season and and then movie. Followed by season two with a movie as well.
Giving how manga reached over 100 chapters in japan move could be used to bridge the gap between end of season 1 and laying the foundation to summer sonia.

The Live Action Version is already covering manga chapters beyond season 1. so the 2nd season of the anime is almost unlikely to happen. Unless...?

Still better than nothing. Maybe they want to know through this if there's enough interest for a second season to be made since P.A. Works rarely do 2nd season. Also I think this is the first time P.A. Works will be doing a compilation film.
