I've completed it yesterday and i want to hear everyone's opinion on a general question that has been raised in the anime ......

In your opinion what's more important
(i) Present
(ii) Future

Also give your logic behind your answer ....

present, humans are selfish by nature and we want things, the idea we must sacrifice our now for better things tomorrow for others is not very popular, why are future humans worth sacrificing our present for? you often hear smthing slong the lines of "This world is fucked but its not for my time" so its rly just handing down your problems along the generations and die, concerned for the future they will go throught but completely unaffected by it.

we see that as we slowly march to our doom irl with the climate change, world hunger and overpopulation. no one wants to sacrifice the commodity of driving a car whenever they feel like it just for the future generation breath properly, when creating Palestine the countries involved knew it would blow up some conflict but it was a quick fix for their time, slavery ,colonialism werent rly tought with the future in mind just a way of getting rich fast b4 ppl benefiting from those systems died.

I'd rather enjoy my Days now rather then worrying about a future that might never happen. Coz when look back I'll be enjoying myself with a past full of good memories.

i agree with you i think it too that we should live our present but we should consider our future too .....

Id have to say the future. The present is very important but a future is what makes the present so significant. Without future there is no hope, regardless of the future being possibly worse than the present, it will always eventually lead to happy times because the future is symbol of continuation and change of life itself. Even if your present days are good now, living in the present forever without looking forward to the change of life it won’t be so worth it because even if the future is worse, you will be able to look back at those happy memories and know it was all worth it. Essentially saying that the future will always give a change of emotions and experience to gain, with only ever feeling one emotion, you can’t truly understand it, how do you feel and understand happiness if you never felt sadness? etc.

Why would these 2 be exclusive from eachother?
The future can only be by the grace of the present, but the present holds no value without a future.

Both are important. I love how they represent your asset as relationship. Because if you ruin your relationship your asset going down and your future is going down.

I knew people who going in casino and on next day they are broke, actual 0 money in the wallet. That next day is they future. The future is not 20 years away, some times is under few hours if you treating your asset bad.

For that reason I think both are important.
