| I think it was just really bad timing. Around 2009 was the worst time for anime with companies like ADV & Geneon closing down and others about to like Bandai Entertainment & Manga Entertainment(US). Companies that did survive scaled back. FUNimation apparently did a poll for a DVD release of Valkyria Chronicles but nothing happened so I guess it wasn't popular enough. When eventually studios started to recover I think it just became too late. |
