Episode 1

To start things off, it's a double-length episode that introduces the characters and sets the stage up for Ryza's big adventure.  Ryza is looking to go on an adventure seeing how she's bored with her life back at home with Tao and Lent accompanying her.  And after embarking on their adventure, they run into monsters, and then bump into Klaudia  She joins the party with her knowledge about flowers coming in handy, and then they run into strong monsters that they have no business fighting at their level, but luckily Empel and Lila are around to save them.  Impressed with Empel's knowledge of alchemy that she wants to learn under him, and for that she's put through a couple of tests.  And she passes them with flying colors.  It was slow to develop, but she's now got a foot in the door as she long aspires to become an alchemist.

Seeing that this is adapted from a game that I wasn't sure what to expect, seeing that while they usually end up badly, with Aniplex producing this and going as far as to make the first episode an hour long that at the very least it won't be as bad as most video game adaptations.  Anyway, it has some potential being somebody who has never played any of the games in the Atelier series, but at the same time I don't get the sense it's going to be a banger.  Anyway, a few more episodes before I decide what to do.

Apparently all 12 episodes are finished. Shouldn't expect any delays.

It looks like they've successfully avoided the bland game protagonist syndrome. The show looks good so far. Hopefully there's a decent plot. I'll be watching.

I liked this so far, much better starter than ost anime based on games. The warrior girl certainly has some big boobs

It was alright. My biggest issue is how incredibly annoying Bigassa is and how stupid her and her friends are. I was actually rooting for them to get goblin slayer'd so we could switch to focusing on some smarter characters. And I can't believe her parents wouldn't have punished her for running off like that. Hopefully now that they seem to have some mentors they won't act so stupidly any more.

So no one was teaching that guy to use a sword? He's just been swinging it around and calling it "training?"

Klaudia is less annoying--and cuter--than Ryza, but, unfortunately, just as stupid. You'd think someone that lives in a world with monsters, and travels around with a caravan, would either know not to wander off on her own or would have gotten eaten a long time ago.

I just watched this, and I'm honestly annoyed by all the crotch and breast shots (esp. in the OP and ED).  Most of the premier was a waste and only the last 15 minutes are so was worthwhile. I may have a low tolerance on this show. We'll see.

Ah what a series. The lead has Thunder Thighs, the silver hair girl has huge oppi with two arrows on her boobs pointing to her cleavage.  What more could you ask for? Goblin capturing them ans laying into them for being so dim witted.

Well that was ...something. I think they majorly screwed up her physique, she is just shpposed to be thicc but for some reason they gave her super long legs which just made her look weird and her running awkward at best. I mean sometimes she was as tall as the sword guy and her head looked so ginormous you couldn't even tell her boobs were big. Yeesh. And tgen warriir girl comes along and makes her look like an A cup o_0, disappointing they didn't animate any jiggle.
Other than that I kind of did enjoy the country bumpkins finally learning about the outside world storyline. Hopefully the art settles down and stops being a distractuon from that.

I'm pretty sure those thighs would pop if you pricked them with a pin.

I'll be watching them again next week...

Episode 2

Ryza begins her apprenticeship as she goes around gathering plants and stuff to make an ointment.  And the opportunity arises to see how well she has progressed as she heals a kid's scraped knee with it.  While that's going on, Lent is determined to become a fighter, all while Tao is always looking for knowledge.  And given Klaudia's rich upbringing that she just needs to be down to earth a little bit when around Ryza.  Just like the first episode, much of it didn't interest me until the end, so I'm hoping to see some development next time as I'm getting the sense with this show that just seeing it once means I have seen it all.

By the look of things ... Ryza is colorblind.

Would help explain her outfit.

Well at least she didn't run awkwardly in this episode. Amazing how thick her Zettai ryōiki is (are?) but her thighs still don't touch. o_0 Actually now with more butt shots I notcied she actually dorsn't have that big of a butt, it's all avout those stockings cutting off her circulation.
Uh oh drunk dad drama guess this isn't going to be all light hearted.

Oof this is a snoozer, it would help if the MC was more than just a pair of chubby thighs and tight shorts.
And really the smell was something one of her 2 best friends uses all the time at gis job (and so was bound to have it on him just like this ep) and she never askes him what it was?
Also its made from a real flower but they sythesize it using a different (rare) plant and alchemy, what was the point? Just go get the real thing, alchemy is for doing "magical" unrealistic stuff. Cloth and floral scents? Really? C'mon I couldn't make alchemy any more boring if I tried. What's next a little school kid will lose his homework so she makes him a pencil and notebook by throwing rare tree bark into the pot? 9_9

Asstelier Thyza and the Secret of Using Alchemy to Make Mundane Items

There's several cute girls in this show so I'm not sure why Thyza is the only one that gets the 'special' camera angles.

The show overall felt pointless and the last episode was especially pointless.

It wasn't horrible though 5.5/10

This series could have bored cabbage to cold slaw. Just nothing there. Would have been more interesting if Bos had told her he had romantic interest in her and it hurt that she saved him.

I thought the animation and background art were very good. The story was completely forgettable. I had it rated at 7/10, but I'll drop it to 6 since I really don't remember much of it now.
